Preventing Fracture, Building Capacity and Mobilizing Support in response to the foster crisis.
We lack 834 foster homes for abused and neglected children. We have 1,240 children waiting to be adopted. Over 5,000 children are in foster care with the lowest number of available homes in years. Covid has deviated children and families in San Antonio!
The church has an opportunity to respond.
Join us and learn how to mobilize your church community to serve children and families impacted by foster care.
There will be a short informational presentation and a discussion panel of fellow pastors, staff and, lay leaders already serving in foster/adopt ministry.
We will be providing lunch, please register so we can plan accordingly. This event is presented in collaboration with Decade of the Family and Unicity.
